How would you describe your style?
My style is very colorful! My outfits are inspired by the things I love like flowers, school, birds, animals and food.
How long have you been interested in fashion, and what inspired your interest?
I have been interested in fashion on and off all my life. However, I became more interested when I became a teacher 6 years ago. I decided wanted to be the fun and colorful teacher that takes their class on an adventure each day. Just like the incredible Mrs Frizzle! She really inspired me to change my style from jean shorts, polos and runners to being the colorful and exciting teacher!
What's your profession, and how does what you wear impact your profession?
I am a primary school teacher and I enjoy wearing bright and colorful dresses. My students love seeing what I wear each day and they will always request certain outfits.

My journey is ongoing and will always will be. I am very grateful that there is a platform like Mys Tyler where I can share my outfits with a supportive community.

Mys Tyler has given me more confidence to post my pictures and share my outfits with the amazing community! I have also been able to connect with other women similar to myself and been able to try new brands thanks to Mys Tyler recommendations.

What’s your favorite fashion hack?
Don’t be afraid to wear sneakers with your dresses.
What’s the perfect formula for a feel-good outfit?
You will never see me leave the house without a pair of earrings! I will match my earrings to my outfit (I think I even have more earrings than dresses!!!)
What do you hope the future of fashion will look like?
My hope for the future of fashion is that plus size fashion is more readily available in stores. It is disheartening that majority of stores will go up to a 12/14 in store and any women over these sizes need to shop online. Hopefully size inclusivity becomes readily available and more people will be able to try on clothes in store.
If you could tell your younger self anything, what would you say?
Your size does not define you… You are beautiful no matter what you wear so don’t wait to wear what you want to!!!
