How would you describe your style?
Colourful, bright, pink, affordable and girly!!!
How long have you been interested in fashion, and what inspired your interest?
I have always loved clothes and loved shopping for as long as I can remember!
Can you tell us about your journey to body confidence?
I’m still definitely on this journey and learning to love what I see and feel confident in what I look like, however, finding my own style and recreating other people’s looks has helped me 100%. Yes, it may look good on a size 8 but I can also make it look good on a size 18! Understanding we are all different and that the world would be boring if we all looked and dressed the exact same way.
How fabulous is this look!? From the distressed denim to the asymmetrical mesh black top to the bubble gum pink blazer and shoes - it’s so fun!
What's your profession, and how does what you wear impact your profession?
I’m a hairdresser by trade, working in a hair and makeup school with young people interested in the industry, as well as currently studying beauty. Feeling good and looking good are so important in this industry. Mirrors are EVERYWHERE and fashion plays a huge part in your presentation with clients, customers and students. I now work in a space where I can wear colour (after many years of only being able to wear black) and I love creating new looks and wearing something different every day.

City Chic! I collaborate with them often and they sent through some information on Mys Tyler so I signed up!
How has using Mys Tyler impacted you?
I have been able to share my passion with fellow fashionistas, gained followers and really feel a part of the plus size community. I love seeing what others that look like me buy and where they buy them, which certainly doesn’t help my shopping addiction!!

What's the perfect formula for a feel-good outfit? What goes into an outfit that makes you feel good/ brightens your day?
I can’t go past a crop/tucked or tied top with a high wasted skirt/pants or shorts. This gives shape, bringing you in and skimming over the areas I’m still learning to love. Showing a little bit of skin through the midriff is also a personal fave!
What do you hope the future of fashion will look like?
I hope that I can start going shopping in brick and mortar shops again! Currently there is not much available for plus size girls and I do 95% of my shopping online and pray it fits properly.
If you could tell your younger self anything, what would you say?
Don’t spend your whole life trying to look like others, embrace your individuality and turn up each day as your unapologetic self. Also, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
